Speaking of funny things that kids say, I teach the 6 year olds in primary and last Sunday I was teaching about missionaries. And I asked the kids what missionaries do, and one kid raised his hand and said they eat food. Hah. They must have the missionaries over for dinner a lot. Then later I asked what you can do to prepare to go on a mission. And a different child said you can try a lot of different kinds of food. Oh man. Then later as I was telling Mike about this, I said "You'll never guess what the kids said." And Mike said, "Eat food." Hah. Oh man. Funny day.

  1. Okay, Number 35? I have never even thought about this! What a wonderful idea. Thank you so much for posting this. It's so uplifting to read about so many of the little wonderful things in life. It just made me so happy..and oddly enough, made me crave movie theatre popcorn :)

Cute story about your primary class! Don't you just love when kids make a totally random connection to things. It really shows you how clearly and un-biased they see things! I bet you are a wonderful teacher and surely they just love you!

PS it was so wonderful seeing you. Sometimes I just crave seeing an old friend and you have always been such a kind and happy person that it was just uplifting seeing you! Hope to see you when you're back in Utah!
